(April 12) Today’s contest is complete. FIVE (5) NHC spots will be awarded. Qualifiers also receive a $500 travel allowance and a four night stay at Treasure Island. NHC Tour points are awarded to the top 30 finishers. Finishers 6th – 8th will receive a $495 credit; finishers 9th – 11th will receive $330 and finishers 12th – 15th will receive a $165 credit. There is a 48 hour audit period and qualifiers will be notified via email. Thank you for participating.
The next NHCQualify event will be on Saturday, April 26th. Up to SIX NHC spots will be awarded (4 spots guaranteed). Entries will open on April 19th.
A 2014 NHC Tour membership is required for all players. The $50 fee is payable to the NTRA at http://www.ntra.com/en/nhc/become-a-member/. The NHC Tour will award $200,000 in prize money and the NHC prize pool has been increased to $1.8 million. This site offers players the chance to qualify to the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC), the preeminent, industry-recognized Championship of tournament handicapping. There were 495 players participating in the NHC Finals conducted at Treasure Island in Las Vegas on January 24-26, 2014. A total of $1.5 million in prize money was awarded by the NTRA, plus an additional $250,000 in NHC TOUR prize money.
Entry fees for NHCQualify.com contests vary depending on the format of contests being conducted. See the How to Play section for more information on the format of the contests. It is important for players to get acquainted with contest play and official rules before participating in NHCQualify contests. For the 2014 NHC Championship, a total of 136 entries were awarded via the NHC’s Official Online Qualifying Site, NHCQualify.com. A total of $884,000 in qualifier fees were paid to the NTRA from our site last year. Another $150,000 was provided to players for travel and hotel expenses. For the 2014-5 season, the NTRA has raised the online qualifying spot fee from $6,500 to $7,250 per spot. Plus the travel and hotel expenses.
